Let's get started.

College asks a lot of you. And if you're also carrying the weight of identity, cultural expectations, or experiences you haven't fully processed yet, it can feel like a lot to hold.

I'm Obi, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and doctoral researcher at UT Austin studying how to make mental health care more effective. I work with teens and young adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, identity, and stress that doesn't have one simple source. I'm Nigerian and Italian, and I bring genuine cultural understanding to the work. Your story, context, and complexity matter here.

My approach is honest, collaborative, and grounded in who you actually are.
